Track / Limit To Your Love
Cover / Feist

Link removed upon request.

James Blake: A talented, 22 year old, UK-based, gospel-influenced, dubstep producer. Not to be confused with the American tennis player. Much of his work can be described as ‘inaccessible’, but this cover of Feist’s Limit To Your Love can only be described as beautiful. Download his recent mix here.

The Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter

Artist / The Rolling Stones
Track / Gimme Shelter
Album / Let It Bleed

Gimme Shelter

I watched The Rolling Stones Stones in Exile documentary recently and can’t recommend it highly enough. It reminded me of their absolute greatness as a rock band. Although this song isn’t from the Exile On Main Street album, it is my favourite Stones song of all time. An obvious choice maybe, but really… it is the best…

Walking

Awesome collaboration. Nneka (currently on tour with Nas) has teamed up with Jay Electronica (tipped to be the next Nas) and the whole thing got excellently remixed by J.Period. Get more mixtape action here. Thanks to Best Band Ever for the tip-off.

Wu Lyf - Heavy Pop

Heavy Pop

There’s a lot of speculation about who these guys actually are, if they still exist as a group and whether it’s just all one big practical joke. They’ve apparently been sporting a few different monikers to add to the mystery, bla bla anyway… I really, really love this track.
